New Facebook App to give a hand to my friend

Sometimes is cool to experiment so I decided to give a hand to my friend Nicolas and learn more about the facebook platform. Nicolas is participating in an International Photo Contest and one of the most important things is to get people vote for the participant’s picture. He was doing very good when he started, was in around position 20 on voting. Then I gave him some tricks for Social Network marketing and he’s voting stats went off the roof. He actually was in position number 1 for almost a week.

Then suddenly some guys from foreign countries came up to the competition and using some obscure techniques (change IP) climb to the top of the voting. Now he is in position 5 close to 200 votes away from the first position.

So I decided to give him a hand an crete a Facebook Application to promote his work which was launched today. It took me roughly 10 hours of work but is working pretty decent. Has a MySQL database, supports invitations, sepports sending requests, it updates friends feeds on actions, keeps scored of the top contributors, and some other fancy features of the FBML platform.

Ooops, almost forgot… the application is in spanish to target he’s friends in Latin America, so you have to know at least a little of spanish in order to browse arround.
